SURGICA, 2026
Surgica is a choral and installative performance created site specifically for a residency at Villa Clea (Milano).
The performance constructs a closed, almost aseptic environment, in which the domestic is progressively emptied of its reassuring function to become a space of psychic projection and compulsive reiteration. The seven performers move through space and an industrial soundscape which progressively shifts into a climax. It explores themes such as medicalization and normalization of the female body, expressing the short circuit between an aesthetic of perfection and a disintegrative drive: the domestic becomes the stage of a shared psychosis, while the body — rather than adhering to a normative ideal — reveals itself as a site of excess, deformation, and resistance.
The performance lasts 10 minutes but it was performed many times in a row, in a time span of two hours, resulting in a time based work of resistance and repetition.

DESERT DOGS, 2020
“Everyday was a new day, but at the same time it was always the same day”
A young arabic man and a european woman fall in love in the desert. Their life is dotted with very few precious elements, and their mutal presences seem to fill the vastness’ void.
